Arte a San Leonardo was born from the desire of Marchese Anselmo and his wife Ilaria to create a dialogue between the history and identity of the estate and the language of contemporary art. Each year, an artist is invited to immerse themselves in the life of San Leonardo, engaging with various aspects of the estate, ranging from the landscape and its people to the winemaking process and agricultural life. The goal is to inspire new perspectives and creative reflections.

The project follows a structured timeline, beginning and ending symbolically with the arrival of spring, is unfold in several phases: residency, research, design, and production. The result is a unique artwork that becomes part of the San Leonardo Collection and an artist's label, featured on a limited edition of 999 bottles of the estate's grand vin.
