- Genuary 2010 - Fine Wine - 19/20
- The wine of the tastino. Deep of color, bright and youthful. A nose of fresh and dried fruit, dried herb and tea-leaf, persistent and enticing. Complex, layared, lively wine with mouthwatering acidità, still-firm tannins, and abundant fruit. Excellent depth and lenght of flavor, still with time to go.
Harvest Report
Another outstanding growing year with very little rainfall, totalling only 380 millimetres from April to October in comparison with an average of 570 millimetres. The year also enjoyed a very high number of hours of sunlight (1,407), making it with 1985 one of the two sunniest vintages of the past twenty years in our area.
During the harvest period, which ended on 18 October, temperature fluctuations were normal.
Maturity Curve and Serving
Ready for the corkscrew but can improve still further. Serve at a temperature of 16 °C.
